# BTW-codes inrichten
## Stel BTW-codes in om je boekingen automatisch van de juiste BTW-afhandeling te voorzien
In het onderdeel **Inrichting | Algemeen | Btw-Codes** beheer je welke btw-codes beschikbaar zijn binnen je administratie, welke percentages daarbij horen en op welke grootboekrekeningen de bedragen geboekt worden. Deze instellingen zijn cruciaal voor een correcte btw-aangifte én voor een juiste verwerking van je boekingen.
### Wat kun je met dit onderdeel doen?
- **BTW-codes aanmaken en bewerken**
Elke code heeft een unieke omschrijving en kan worden toegewezen aan een specifieke boekingscategorie (zoals 'Af te dragen' of 'Te vorderen'). Zie ook [Een BTW code aanmaken](https://klanten.minox.nl/nl/focus/een-btw-code-aanmaken?hsLang=nl)
- **BTW-percentages instellen**
Je bepaalt per code welk btw-percentage van toepassing is (bijvoorbeeld 21%, 9%, 0% of 1% voor specifieke situaties).
- **Koppeling maken met grootboekrekeningen**
Voor elke btw-code geef je aan naar welke grootboekrekening het btw-bedrag moet worden geboekt. Minox zorgt ervoor dat dit automatisch gebeurt tijdens het boeken.
- **Codes ordenen en zoeken**
In het overzicht aan de linkerkant kun je snel zoeken op code of omschrijving, en de gekoppelde grootboekrekening inzien.
- **BTW-regimes structureren**
Ondersteuning voor verschillende btw-situaties, waaronder:
- Hoog/laag af te dragen
- Te vorderen btw
- Verlegde btw binnen/buiten EU
- Privégebruik en afstandsverkopen
Let op: het juiste gebruik van btw-codes is essentieel voor je btw-aangifte. Raadpleeg je accountant of boekhouder als je niet zeker weet welke code je moet gebruiken.
